John Denver was a superstar artist who was a hit by his popular-folk hits Many of them were based in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. is a New Mexican born artist and songwriter who fell in love with Colorado. Denver's state anthems inspired people to travel to Colorado. G. Brown of Colorado Music Hall of Fame, the director of this hall of fame said: "I don't believe there any other performer who embodies Colorado in the same way as John Denver." Denver is the Hall of Fame's initial inductee, was honoured by the honor in 2011. Today he personifies the state for all people.
